I then played one season for the Colorado Rapids before heading back to the University of Wyoming to earn my Juris Doctor.
I have a passion to pursue justice for people who have been injured by the negligence of others. I work hard to get clients the compensation they deserve, and to ensure communication is always a priority throughout the process.

Cody Gayer – Injury Lawyer
Born and raised in Western Oklahoma, Cody has strong ties to the State and takes pride in fighting for the rights of his fellow Oklahomans. After high school, Cody attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. In 2010, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law and went to work for a large corporation in Tulsa, OK. Finding corporate work unfulfilling and wanting to represent individuals, Cody left and pursued a career in medical malpractice. Since the beginning of 2011, Cody has diligently fought for his clients in both small and complex medical malpractice and general litigation cases. In 2017, Cody was selected by Super Lawyers to receive their “rising star” award. Additionally, Cody has won cases at all levels of appeal at the state and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He brings to our firm a wealth of both pre-trial and trial experience. Away from the office, you’re likely to find Cody at a crossfit gym or at a racetrack on one of his superbikes or supermoto race bikes.
Larry Finn – Injury Lawyer
Larry E. Finn is a seasoned litigator that joined the Firm in 2017. He has argued in both state and federal courts, including the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Larry has also argued in state district courts all across Oklahoma regarding civil, probate, and land use matters. Larry’s passion is arguing his cases before a jury because, at the end of the day, they are the ones deciding the case. In his most recent jury trial, Larry argued that the government’s determination of just compensation of $450,000.00 was not just compensation and, after taking the case to jury trial, received over $1,000,000.00 for his client.
Mason Johnston – Injury Lawyer
My name is Mason Johnston and I am an Injury Attorney with Parrish DeVaughn. I am originally from South Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) before moving to Oklahoma to attend law school. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law and was admitted to practice in 2013. My wife and I have since made Oklahoma City our home. I am devoted to my faith and my family. I am a fairly new father and we are expecting our second baby, a boy, this spring. I grew up hunting and fishing in the Ouachita Mountains and the great outdoors continue to provide a sense of fulfillment and adventure that I feel cannot be replicated elsewhere.
My passion to help injured people began when I was young and my family experienced a hardship that required us to hire an attorney. Since that moment, I knew I wanted to use my God-given abilities to help families and individuals navigate the legal process. I’ve learned that common sense, compassion, and diligence can take you a long way. I look forward to every day knowing that I can make a difference—however small—in someone’s life or circumstances.
