After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2015, I knew I wanted to work somewhere where I could help people but didn’t know exactly how that was going to unfold. I worked for a year and a half in specialty coffee and then discovered Parrish DeVaughn. I look forward to coming to work and assisting the team and clients here as much as possible. When I’m not at work, I love finding a nice coffee shop to read at, being outside, and hanging out with family and friends.

I was born and raised in Fremont, California. I moved to Oklahoma City for my husband in 2012, where I also finished my master’s in criminology at Oklahoma City University (OCU). I have been working with civil plaintiff attorneys for five years, and I am currently in my last year of law school at OCU School of Law and Pepperdine University School of Law. At Parrish DeVaughn, I get to work with my team to help new clients through difficult times. I love being a part of the Parrish DeVaughn family! In my spare time, I love to travel with my husband, teach dance, and rescue animals.
Tara Beda – Intake Specialist
Originally from Chicago, I have always been drawn to helping people in any way that I can. When I moved to Oklahoma, I began pursuing my degree in Nursing, while also working as an Intake Specialist here at the firm. This gives me the chance to help those in need, and help figure out what kind of injuries have been sustained and how it affects each case. My biggest love for this job is having that first initial conversation with each client because it allows me to create a strong connection to each person, and makes it all worth it in the end. During my free time, I like to cook, dance, do yoga, and spend quality time with my puppy!
Shae Smith – Intake Specialist

As a Resource Manager I feel that I am able to help people in my community dealing with unexpected hardships. On weekends you might find me at the Grease Trap Gallery, a local art gallery providing funding for the Oklahoma City Boys and Girls Club art program by allowing local artists to give back to their community, while showcasing their work in a unique space. I also enjoy spending time with my creative friends and adorable dog, Frank.
Jessica Carabajal – Resource Manager
Born and raised right here in Oklahoma City, I’ve always wanted to pursue a career where I could help others, and that desire led me to Parrish DeVaughn. I get a genuine thrill from advocating for our clients and am lucky enough to work with a brilliant team of people who feel the same way. Outside of these hallowed halls, I have a passion for the performing arts. I work part time as house manager for a regional theater and perform onstage when I can. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with community organizations and cheering for the Sooners and my beloved Oklahoma City Thunder.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside and hanging out with my friends and family.
Michael Garcia – Case Manager
I left the safety of my hometown, San Antonio, when I was 17 years old. I wanted to see the world, so I moved to Italy, where I studied Italian, classical art, and history. I ate pasta, started painting, and like most mid-20-somethings, I learned what kind of person I was and what kind of person I wanted to be. From there I moved around a bit and looked for a place to call my own. Just a few years ago, I settled on Oklahoma City. I was really excited to see what I was capable of. I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do here! I love solving puzzles, and I collect riddles in my spare time. Reading is my favorite hobby—and it’s cheaper than a trip to Italy.
Allison Keeley – Litigation Case Manager
Born and raised in Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I find that I thrive when I am able to help others through hard times. I enjoy cooking, learning about other cultures, and hanging out with my two cats, Aspen and Gene.
Alie Keogh – Case Manager
Originally from a small town in Texas, I graduated from St. Gregory’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Having a background in Psychology has allowed me to better understand my clients and the troubles they are facing. Working as a Case Manager at Parrish DeVaughn has given me the opportunity to help those who are in need, which is the most rewarding part of my job. In my free time, I enjoy art, reading, exercising, and spending time with my family.
Kaysone Keopine – Workers’ Compensation Case Manager
I was born in Laos, raised in Garden City, and have lived majority of my life in St. Louis where I pursued a business management degree from St. Louis University. After graduation, I expected to travel around the state in a renovated school bus with my close friend selling new business ideas for income. While there are a lot more kinks to be worked out, Oklahoma marks the first state in this journey of mine. As a case manager at Parrish Devaughn, I am challenged to think outside the box when working on each client’s unique situation. After a day at the office, I like to work out with my dog, attempt to recreate my mom’s homemade recipes, and play a round of golf whenever possible.
Josh Lathe – Case Manager
I love dogs, jokes, the Thunder, and I LOVE being a part of the Parrish DeVaughn team! We work hard for clients, and we care about their total health and well-being. I have never been around so many driven, smart, and compassionate people. I know we’ll be there for our clients because we’re always there for each other.
Amber Phillips – Case Manager
I am passionate about helping our clients. In addition to my long legal background, I worked at The Oklahoma Publishing Company (OPUBCO) for two years prior to joining the firm. I graduated from the Legal Assistant Education program at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. I enjoy reading, movies, going out to dinner, and raising my girls in Norman.
Emily Phillips – Case Manager
Even at a young age, I had hoped for and sought after a life in which I could help others and curate positivity for those in need. After graduating from Oklahoma State University in Fire Protection and Safety, I set out with the tools and intentions to protect the wellness of others. I would not have guessed my career path would place me in Injury Law, but I’m glad it did. At Parrish DeVaughn Law Firm, I get to meet those truly in need of help, and be an aide to their recovery.
Mabel Reyes – Workers’ Compensation Case Manager
I have always worked for a company that provides customer service to others. It makes me happy to help and be of service to people. I went to school in my forties to become a legal assistant. When I finished school, I began working for a law firm. Being bilingual gives me the opportunity to reach out to others in the Hispanic community. I know that I am supposed to be of SERVICE to others and LOVE them as I know God loves me. It is my absolute pleasure to be part of the great team at Parrish DeVaughn.
