Venus Tahmasebi – Chief Operating Officer

Sydney Jackson – Firm Administrator

After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2015, I knew I wanted to work somewhere where I could help people, but I didn’t know exactly how that was going to unfold. I worked for a year and a half in specialty coffee and then discovered Parrish DeVaughn. I look forward to coming to work and assisting the team and clients here as much as possible. When I’m not at work, I love finding a nice coffee shop to read at, being outside, and hanging out with family and friends.

Meagan Crockett-Edsall – Director of Intake and Marketing

I was born and raised in Fremont, California. I moved to Oklahoma City for my husband in 2012, where I also finished my master’s degree in criminology at Oklahoma City University (OCU). I have been working with civil plaintiff attorneys for five years, and I am currently in my last year of law school at OCU School of Law and Pepperdine Law. At Parrish DeVaughn, I get to work with my team to help new clients through difficult times. I love being a part of the Parrish DeVaughn family! In my down time, I love to travel with my husband, teach dance, and rescue animals.

Justin Payne – Intake Specialist

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I moved to Oklahoma City back in December of 2017. I am used to working construction, but now I work at Parrish Devaughn. My main hobby would be riding motocross. Family will always be a huge part of my life!

Tara Beda – Intake Specialist

Originally from Chicago, I have always been drawn to helping people in any way that I can. When I moved to Oklahoma, I began pursuing my degree in nursing while also working as an intake specialist here at the firm. This gives me the chance to help those in need and help figure out what kinds of injuries have been sustained and how they affect each case. One of my favorite parts of my job is having that first initial conversation with each client because it allows me to create a strong connection to each person and makes it all worth it in the end. During my free time, I like to spend time cuddling with my two dogs, dancing like EVERYONE is watching, painting, and winding down with some good yoga.

Lauren Gibbs – Client Relations Specialist

My name is Lauren Gibbs and I am a client relations specialist at Parrish DeVaughn. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in history. During college, I was a track and field student athlete. After graduating, I started my journey to practice law. I found Parrish DeVaughn along the way, and it instantly felt like home. I have always had a passion for helping others, and at Parrish DeVaughn, I get to do that every day. When I am not at work, you can find me running the streets of Norman or catching a movie at the Warren.

Meg Mitchell – Resource Manager Team Lead

I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and have been with Parrish DeVaughn since 2014. As a resource manager, I feel that I am able to help people in my community who are dealing with unexpected hardships. On weekends you might find me at the Grease Trap Gallery, a local art gallery that provides funding for the Oklahoma City Boys and Girls Club art program by allowing local artists to give back to their community while showcasing their work in a unique space. I also enjoy spending time with my creative friends and my adorable dog, Frank.

Elizabeth Nguyen – Resource Manager

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in psychology and a special interest in psychobiology. I’ve always enjoyed listening to and understanding others. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking for friends and family, playing tennis, and spending quality time with my dog, Suki.

Alexi Eisner – Case Manager Team Lead

My passion has always been helping others and making people happy. I find that being a case manager allows me to do both. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, I began working in the medical field. I can apply my knowledge, experience, and skills from the medical field to help my clients at Parrish DeVaughn and to pursue my passion.

Josh Lathe – Case Manager

I love dogs, jokes, the Thunder, and I LOVE being a part of the Parrish DeVaughn team! We work hard for clients, and we care about their total health and well-being. I have never been around so many driven, smart, and compassionate people. I know we’ll be there for our clients because we’re always there for each other.

Olivia Boling – Case Manager

After earning by bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2016, I wanted to apply my passion for helping people within my job. I worked in the service industry for many years, but I finally found my place at Parrish DeVaughn. I enjoy working with a team that is dedicated to helping our clients. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside and hanging out with my friends and family.

Stormi Flowers – Case Manager

My name is Stormi Flowers (yes, my real name) and I am a case manager with Parrish DeVaughn. I was born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and recently moved to Oklahoma for some adventures and to be with family. I enjoy that I am able to help our clients during difficult times and watch them move forward with their lives. When I’m not working, you can find me in the middle of nowhere looking for swimming holes.

Michael Garcia – Case Manager

I left the safety of my hometown, San Antonio, when I was 17. I wanted to see the world, so I moved to Italy. There I studied Italian, classical art, and history. I ate pasta, started painting, and like most mid-twentysomethings, I learned what kind of person I was and what kind of person I wanted to be. From there I moved around a bit in search of a place to call my own. Just a few years ago, I settled on Oklahoma City. I was really excited to see what I was capable of. I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do here! I love solving puzzles, and I collect riddles in my spare time. Reading is my favorite hobby—and it’s cheaper than a trip to Italy.

Janay Pyle – Case Manager

I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in political science. I worked in corporate law before joining Parrish DeVaughn, and now I have found my niche in personal injury. Helping my clients through difficult times is what I find most rewarding about my job. I love working with such a great team. When I’m not at work, I enjoy shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

Nicolas Hottman – Workers’ Compensation Case Manager

I was born in Casper, Wyoming, and raised in Wichita, Kansas, where I lived until I moved to Oklahoma City in 2012. After graduating from Wichita State University with my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration—and not completely sure what direction to pursue with my degree—I spent almost five years working for the Department of Homeland Security. I have come to realize in my time as a case manager at Parrish Devaughn that I get to help people in a new avenue than I have before. Outside of the office, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our two dogs, Stella and Luna, and volunteering together at our church or with the Central Oklahoma Humane Society.

Erica Harris – Workers’ Compensation Case Manager

When I wake up in the morning, I can’t predict how that day is going to go. In the past, I would get up, let my three dogs out, and float through life. Now, working at Parrish DeVaughn, I get to not only let my dogs out, but I get to go to a place where I am privileged to help people every day. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I told myself as long as I fulfilled my goal of helping at least one person a day, I would be happy. Now, with my degree in criminal justice from the University of Oklahoma, I feel as though I am living my goal each and every day. Not only that, but it allows me to feed my addiction to books.

Kent McConaghie – Investigator

My name is Kent McConaghie, and I am an investigator for Parrish DeVaughn. With a background in law enforcement, investigations, corporate security, and private investigations, I bring many years of experience and knowledge to the firm, as well as an understanding of reports. Kaysone Keopine – Workers’ Compensation Team Lead

I was born in Laos, raised in Garden City, and have lived the majority of my life in St. Louis, where I pursued a Business Management degree from St. Louis University. After graduation, I expected to travel around the state in a renovated school bus with my close friend selling new business ideas for income. While there are a lot more kinks to be worked out, Oklahoma marks the first state in this journey of mine. As a Case Manager at Parrish Devaughn, I am challenged to think outside the box when working on each client’s unique situation. After a day at the office, I like to work out with my dog, attempt to recreate my mom’s homemade recipes, and play a round of golf whenever possible.

Tanieka King – Workers’ Compensation Case Manager

My name is Tanieka King and I am a workers’ compensation case manager at Parrish DeVaughn. I have found my niche here at Parrish DeVaughn. The awesome team at Parrish DeVaughn has exceptional values and gives me the opportunity to explore my passion for helping others. When I am not trying to save the world, my hobbies include cooking, music, and traveling with my three awesome kiddos.
